President  gkaloger@math.uoa.gr Dr Kalogeropoulos is Chairman and Professor of Mathematical Analysis in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Athens, Greece. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and his Doctoral Degree in Mathematical Control Theory from City University of London, UK. Dr. Kalogeropoulos is author of more than 160 publications in academic journals and proceedings of conferences. He has written 5 textbooks and 3 technical publications. He served as Doctoral Advisor for 6 students. Recently, he has been elected as the President of the Greek Mathematical Society and he is serving as Editor in Chief in the Bulletin of the Greek Mathematical Society. Finally, he is member of several professional societies. Vice President A.Pantelous@liverpool.ac.ukDr Pantelous is Lecturer in Statistics and Probability in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Liverpool, UK. Additionally, he is research assistant in the Department of Statistics at the Athens University of Economics and Business, and in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Athens, Greece. He obtained his undergraduate degree in (Pure and Applied) Mathematics, his first MSc in Statistics and Operational Research, and his second MSc (with distinction) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Athens. Additionally, he obtained his third MSc (with distinction) in Statistics and his Doctoral degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the Athens University of Business and Economics. Finally, he has received his second Doctoral degree in Mathematical Control Theory from City University of London, UK. Dr. Pantelous is author of more than 60 publications in academic journals and proceedings of conferences. He has written 4 book chapters. He is serving as reviewer of more than 25 journals and conferences proceedings. Finally, he is member of several professional societies, which include an Associate Fellow of Hel-lenic Actuarial Society. Treasurer TBADr. Zimbidis is assistant Professor of Stochastic Analysis with applications to Insurance and Finance in the Department of Mathematics at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Dr. Zimbidis has received a first class degree in Mathematics from the National University of Athens, Master of Science (with distinction) and Doctor of Philosophy in Actuarial Science from the City University of London, UK. He is a Full Member of the Hellenic Actuarial Society and the International Actuarial Society. He worked as a Director in a large multinational insurance company and has been appointed as the first President to the National Actuarial Authority in Greece from 2003 up to 2005. Additionally, he has prepared many actuarial studies with respect to corporate and occupational pension funds. He has published original research papers to international scientific journals and conferences while has written 5 university books with subjects related to Actuarial Science. He is editor of Variance the peerreviewed journal published by the Casualty Actuarial Society. Secretary TBADr Karageorgos is research assistant in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Athens, Greece. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Mathematics, his first Master of Science with distinction in Applied Mathematics and his Doctoral degree in Mathematical Control Theory from the University of Athens. Dr. Karageorgos is author of more than 35 publications in academic journals and proceedings of conferences. He has written 1 book chapter and more than 11 college books in several topics of Mathemat-ical Sciences. |
